This is L4410P, a dolomite body. It is the new proposed recipe for Plainsman L213, a low temperature talc body. This works for both casting and plastic forming. The engobes are AMACO velvets. This is burning as white and working well at cone 06-04 with all the standard glazes and engobes we have tried. Notice how it sags and warps at cone 6. Yet it does not bloat and still has good fired strength. It is stable up to cone 5. Another amazing thing about this body: It has zero fired shrinkage across a wide range of temperatures, so it is suitable for wall and decorative tile.
