Procedure in 5 minutes:
Start but cutting about 1kg of plastic clay, wedge it (without air bubbles or laminations), flatten it, roll it using 3/8 metal rods.
Cut slab or clay to 4 1/4” width, then bars to 2.5 cm width.
Stamp the bars with the run#, specimen numbers.
Make 10cm marks (using talc as a parting agent).
Make an LDW specimen, roll the corners, stamp run#, write the weight.
Wedge, flatten and roll clay to 3/16” thickness, cut a 6 cm dia circle, place on board, stamp with run#, place plaster-filled can on top.
Dry these bars the same way every time.
