The plasticity of this Zero4 fritware is stunning, these pieces are among the thinnest I have made, with walls around 3mm thick top-to-bottom. Of course, even drying is paramount to avoid cracking, I will leave these under cloth and plastic for at least a week (changing the cloth every couple of days). These Amaco underglazes work well, even when applied very thinly. After a 1450F bisque and quick dip in G1916Q clear glaze they can be fired at cone 04 to achieve the incredible: Translucent porcelain!
