From Crystal Glazes Book 1 by Fara Shimbo, page 146.
Best at cones 8 or 9 but will work at 7.
Crystal number: Plentiful on tiles or vessels.
Rate Of Growth: .5 cm diameter per hour.
Crystal Color: Very white, opaque.
Crystal Shape: "Mountainous" on a vessel(shown in photo); can vary widely on a tile.
Ground Color: Colorless transparent on both tiles and vessels.
Crazing: not too bad.
Color Response: Works well with all colors. Copper comes out a sea or mint green, close to a true aquamarine. Nickel works great.
Seeding properties: Excellent with zincite. Also seeds quite nicely with very small pieces of hemimorphite, producing a somewhat more acicular crystal.
