Modulus of Rupture refers to the resistance of a ceramic bar to breaking when supported on two points and subjected to an increasing force at its midpoint.
Default units are psi, otherwise specify. For ball clays, this test is often done on extruded bars composed of 50% ball clay:50% silica.
