Cation Exchange Capacity is related to the electrical activity on particle surfaces, it is thus a measure of a materials response to deflocculants, therefore its ability to be deflocculated into a slurry.
Cation Exchange Capactiy values should specify method, value, units:
e.g. Methylene Blue: Acid Treated-5.2 Meq/100 gm
