Chromium-skin, Iron-respiratory system, Magnesium-respiratory system & eyes, Nickel-lungs, paranasal, sinus, central nervous system (nickel is listed as a carcinogen by NTP, IARC, OSHA.
Fire fighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus as toxic fumes may be evolved during a fire.
First Aid
Eyes: Flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes.
Skin: Wash with soap and water.
Ingestion: Give milk or water. Do not induce vomiting if person is unconscious.
Reactivity:
Material is stable, however, acids can attack it.
