Notes

There are a great many kaolins available from the UK. These are generally less plastic and fire to greater maturity than American counterparts (because they often contain significant K₂O, MgO, etc). They are known for being cleaner and burning to a more blue-white color (whereas American materials more often burn to yellow-white).
