Notes

A phosphorous-rich lithium mineral that typically occurs in spodumene deposits. It has a creamy-white/pale yellow raw color. It is marketed to the tile, tableware and sanitary ware industries as a source of lithium and phosphorus.

Particle size: trade on 28 mesh, 1% on 42 mesh, 20% on 200 mesh.

The role of phosphorus in ceramic glazes and bodies is not well understood by most ceramic engineers and technicians.
