Notes

A fiberous magnesium silicate mineral. It can be found in nature as sedimentary or massive. Nontoxic and odorless.
Specific gravity: 2-2.3
Hardness: 2-2.5
Refractory: (melting point is 1500-1700 ℃)
Low thermal expansion.
Can be high in plasticity.
Dissolves in hydrochloric acid.
The chemistry here is theoretical, actual products have contamination of Fe2O3, Al2O3, CaO, etc.
