Notes

Natural Magnetite is most commonly used in the coal industry. Like raw hematite, it can contain 5-15% impurities. However the price of synthetic black iron oxide can be 500% more than the finely ground raw material. Thus most companies will use the cheaper ground natural magnetite where possible.
