Alternate Names: C1250 Fritte, C 1250 Fritte, Ceradel Frit 1250
Description: Lead bisilicate frit, Bisilicate de plomb

| SiO2 | 35.00% | 2.00 | |
| PbO | 65.00% | 1.00 | |

The manufacturer calls this a lead bisilicate but only gives a range of values for the analysis (SiO2 - 15-40%, PbO 40-70%). Since the standard lead bisilicate is 65:35, that is what we have assigned here. We have another source that confirms that.
| Materials |
Frit
Frits are made by melting mixes of raw materials, quenching the melt in water, grinding the pebbles into a powder. Frits have chemistries raw materials cannot. |
| Materials |
Lead Bisilicate Frit
A standard frit of 1 molar part of PbO and 2 of SiO2. It is considered stable and non-leachable. |

Ceradel Frit C 1249

Leaded Frit
Frits can contain 1% or 80% PbO so this category can be misleading, check the chemistry to find out. |
