Description: ZIRCONIUM ENCAPSULATED CADMIUM
This stain survives high firing to produce red colors that would otherwise be difficult to achieve.
Although manufacturers claim these materials are non-toxic it is clear they must be used exactly as instructed to be safe. It is common for them to be sold without adequate documentation. The manufacturers supply many pages of safety information. See Cadmium in the materials database for hazard info.
