Most of these efforts are transformational waves that we want to ride digitally. Much of the "database plumbing" is already in place in insight-live.com accounts.
-A marketplace where our highly skilled and creative customers of both companies can create storefronts to sell and buy products to and from each other, especially digital (e.g. CAD and vector files, STL files for 3D printing, DIY training videos and procedures, recipe mixing services, custom underglaze transfers, custom decals, etc).
-An API that can accept data (e.g. from our Firing Monitor) or provide data (e.g. our LinkMaker service).
-Expansion of our Celebration Posters to showcase the technical heroes of today and the past in pottery and ceramic manufacture.
-Development of parametric CAD files, extrusion paste and DIY materials to make light-weight custom 3D printed kiln furniture, cranks, saggers.
-Development of parametric CAD drawings and reference materials so that anyone can make their own plaster molds for casting, pressing, jiggering, etc. Our Medalta Ball Pitcher and Medalta 66 Mug projects are examples.
-DIY videos.
-Improvement of our ceramic suppliers database by personal interaction with 100 companies on our current list (these are generating new ideas).
-Making public our GHS safety data sheet generation system for ceramic suppliers (to standardize the presentation of hazards for ceramic materials).
-Expansion of training efforts in 3D design and 3D modelling to foster quality, quantity and new products from Digitalfire and Plainsman customers (potters, hobbyists, factories).
-Ceramic lab testing service to characterize clays, materials, glazes, engobes, underglazes, etc. Services will be delivered online for ordering, payment, order progress and results delivery. Testing is practical following the pattern of pages found in the Digitalfire Reference Library.
