These are for application to leather hard ware.If you want to use them like commercial underglazes then you will have to add more frit, breaking the very recommendations made by the page. But they do that anyway! It will be a matter of having enough frit to get adequate glass bonding on bisque but not so much that opacity is lost. If you have to settle for some lost opacity to get good bonding, then it will be necessary to add more stain, perhaps a lot more, double or triple the amount. That is why underglazes are so expensive!
