Employment:

• 1986-present: Eppler Associates
  Dr. Eppler has general management and technical responsibility for Eppler Associates, a consulting and research and development firm providing technical expertise to selected companies in the ceramic industry.  He is also the principal technical consultant, covering such topics as ceramic coatings, whitewares, slip rheology, pigments, and glass.  He also does a limited amount of expert witness work.
• 1986-1989: University of Lowell
  Dr. Eppler taught courses in Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, and directed Master's Thesis students.
• 1984-1986: Olin Metals
  He set up and managed the Ceramics Research Department. Principal work was concerned with glass-sealed integrated circuit packages.
• 1965-1984: Pemco International Group, Inc.
  He was responsible for new product research and development, and managed the technical library and patent matters.  He developed and patented several novel pigments for ceramics, paints and plastics.  He developed leadless glazes capable of being used industrially, glazes for low expansion bodies, and leadless glazes for low temperature application.
• 1959-1965: Corning, Inc.
  He was responsible for the development of photochromic glasses for ophthalmic application.
